<p>The AIS Radar application offers a capability to visualize AIS (Automatic Identification System) data transmitted from compatible marine transponders and receivers, including devices such as the ExNC 101, Weatherdock easyAIS, and Digital Yacht, over a WiFi network. For AIS equipment lacking integrated WiFi support, an external serial-to-WiFi converter—such as the SEAMate1A® Lite, Brookhouse iMux, Roving Networks RN-370, or Digi Connect® Wi-SP—can be employed to facilitate connectivity. Additionally, the application can display AIS data sourced from public internet feeds, exemplified by channels like the San Francisco Exploratorium.

Please note that operation necessitates an AIS transponder or receiver capable of transmitting data over WiFi. Users should consult the support website for detailed information concerning compatible devices and optimal setup procedures.

Key features include:
* A radar-style PPI display of AIS targets incorporating course and heading indicators alongside speed information.
* Adjustable display range settings to suit operational needs.
* Distinct symbols representing various target types, including vessels equipped with AIS class A and B transponders, SAR aircraft, and navigational aids.
* Calculation of closest point of approach (CPA) and time to CPA (TCPA) for detected targets.
* CPA/TCPA alerts that notify users when minimum thresholds are breached for either distance or time.
* Interactive target selection via tap, with double-tap functionality providing access to detailed target information.
* Display range adjustment through pinch gestures or dedicated +/- controls.
* Multiple radar display modes: Heading Up, Course Up, and North Up.
* Option to filter out slow-moving or stationary targets from the radar view, enhancing clarity.

* A dedicated viewer for AIS safety-related broadcast messages.
* Compatibility with iPhone and iPad devices in both portrait and landscape orientations.
* Support for receiving AIS/NMEA data via TCP or UDP connections.
